AERIAL HOOP CLASSES
Our Aerial Hoop classes are designed to build strength, control, and confidence in the air while exploring movement through the apparatus. These classes follow structured progressions from beginner to advanced.
Your training will focus on safe technique and thoughtful progression, with certified instructors supporting you as you develop both strength and skill. Due to the nature of the apparatus, conditioning is naturally woven into every stage of learning.

THE BEGINNING
INTRO TO HOOP
Our Intro to Hoop class is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of working in the air. You’ll learn foundational techniques including tuck mounts and straddle mounts, explore shapes like Man in the Moon, and begin building grip strength and comfort on a spinning apparatus.
This is a progressive class, and multiple sessions are required to fully cover the material and build consistency. Instructor approval is required before moving into Level 1.
Please wear fitted clothing that covers the backs of the knees, armpits, and torso.
PROGRESSION
LEVEL 1
For students comfortable with mounts and the foundational tricks introduced in Intro to Hoop, Level 1 is the next step in your aerial progression. In this class, students will build on their existing skills while learning intermediate movements such as Straddle Back, Hip Hold variations, and Beats, with a greater focus on spinning and conditioning.
This is a progressive class, and instructor approval is required before moving into Level 2.
Please wear fitted clothing that covers the backs of the knees, armpits, and torso.
PROGRESSION
LEVEL 2
Hoop Level 2 is an advanced class for students who are confident in their Level 1 skills and ready to explore the full apparatus, including the top bar and spansets. In this class, you’ll expand your movement vocabulary with skills such as Elbow Rolls, Gazelle Drops, and Reverse Man in the Moon, while continuing to build strength and control.
Training will include more complex transitions, increased time in the air, and targeted conditioning to support core strength, shoulders, grip, and overall stability.
This is a progressive class, and instructor approval is required before joining.
Please wear fitted clothing that covers the backs of the knees, armpits, and torso.
STRENGTH
HOOP CONDITIONING
Ready to level up your strength and stamina in the air? This class is all about building the power, control, and body awareness you need to thrive in aerial hoop. Hoop Conditioning is an open-level class designed to build strength, control, and endurance on the apparatus. Students are welcome to join once they have completed Intro to Hoop and are actively progressing through Level 1, or with instructor approval.
We’ll break down drills and conditioning sequences that target grip strength, shoulder stability, core control, and dynamic movement, all while staying connected to the hoop. While you won’t be learning new tricks or choreography, you will be building the strength and stability that supports everything you do in the air.
Expect to challenge your body in new ways as you build strength, control, and endurance over time.
Please wear fitted clothing that covers the backs of the knees, armpits, and torso.
